Job Description
The Remote CNC/CAM Programmer creates accurate CNC programs for low‑ to mid‑complexity components using ESPRIT software. Working remotely, the specialist translates engineering drawings into production‑ready code, supports the machining team, and ensures programs meet tolerances and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in engineering or a related field
- • Strong background in CNC machining and programming
- • Proven experience with ESPRIT CAM software
- SolidWorks knowledge is a plus
- • Ability to read and interpret GD&T, tolerances and technical drawings
- • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop production‑ready CNC programs for basic plates, hole patterns, simple fixtures and replacement parts
- • Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to generate accurate machining code
- • Use ESPRIT CAM software to program and verify toolpaths
- • Collaborate with the machining team to ensure programs are executed correctly on the shop floor
- • Maintain documentation of programs and revisions
