Job Description
The Logistics Officer is responsible for coordinating inter‑plant transfers of raw materials, finished goods and other inventory across company facilities and depots. The role ensures timely, accurate movement of stock, maintains proper documentation, and monitors inventory levels to support production schedules. Regular liaison with internal teams, transport providers and warehouse staff is required to resolve issues and optimise logistics processes.

- • Coordinate the movement of raw materials, finished goods and other inventory between plants, depots and storage areas
- • Liaise with internal stakeholders, transport providers and warehouse personnel to schedule and track transfers
- • Prepare and maintain accurate transfer documentation and inventory records
- • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely delivery to meet production requirements
- • Identify and resolve any issues affecting the efficiency of inter‑plant logistics
- • Optimize routing and handling procedures to reduce costs and improve turnaround times
