Job Description
The Research Associate will conduct molecular biology experiments including DNA extraction, PCR, Southern blotting, qRT‑PCR, sequencing, and mutation detection. Responsibilities also include maintaining bacterial cultures and supporting construct development for research projects. The role contributes to data generation and analysis to advance the institute’s scientific objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology or a related field
- • Minimum 1 year laboratory experience with molecular techniques
- • Proficiency in PCR, qRT‑PCR, DNA extraction, Southern blotting and sequencing
- • Ability to maintain bacterial cultures and follow biosafety procedures

- • Perform genomic DNA extractions and PCR-based assays
