Job Description
The Research Associate I will conduct experimental studies on yam genetics and agronomy at ILRI. The role includes data collection, statistical analysis, and preparation of scientific manuscripts. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams supports the institute’s mission to improve food security in Africa.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Master’s degree in Plant Science, Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field
- • Experience in crop research, experimental design, and data analysis
- • Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS)
- • Strong written and oral communication skills for scientific dissemination
