Job Description
The resident medical officer leads clinical services at the clinic, providing patient care, overseeing staff and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities include diagnosing, treating, and managing health records while supporting operational functions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • MBChB or MBBS degree from a recognized university
- • Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council
- • At least 1 year post‑internship experience in a hospital setting
- • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- • Strong clinical decision‑making and patient management skills

Responsibilities
- • Deliver primary medical care and manage patient consultations
- • Supervise clinical staff and coordinate daily operations
- • Ensure compliance with Kenya medical licensing and health regulations
- • Maintain accurate health records and use HMIS for reporting
- • Participate in budgeting, cost management and resource planning for the clinic
