Job Description
The Risk & Compliance Officer will support the bank’s risk management framework by maintaining the risk register, developing policies and conducting risk assessments. The role also involves delivering risk awareness training, preparing key risk indicator reports and analysing loan portfolio risks to propose mitigation actions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or equivalent degree
- • Professional certificate in risk, compliance or related field
- • Minimum 3 years experience in a financial institution
- • Strong analytical and reporting skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Compile and update the corporate risk register and enterprise risk management policies
- • Conduct risk awareness training and share learning materials across the institution
- • Prepare reports on Key Risk Indicators and other risk‑related metrics
- • Review and contribute to policy and procedure manuals
- • Perform risk assessments for new processes, products, MOUs and partnership agreements
- • Provide data analysis and analytical support to the Risk Management team
- • Identify, monitor and propose mitigation actions for loan portfolio risks
- • Conduct risk and control assessments for all business units and processes
