Job Description
The Sacco Driver is responsible for safely transporting goods and passengers, adhering to routes and schedules while maintaining the vehicle in good condition. Duties include loading and unloading, record keeping, and providing courteous service to customers. The role requires a valid driver’s licence and at least five years of professional driving experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or vocational qualification in transportation or related field
- • Minimum 5 years of driving experience with a clean record
- • Valid Kenyan driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle type
- • Knowledge of national safety regulations and fleet management policies

Responsibilities
- • Operate the vehicle safely and comply with all traffic laws and regulations
- • Follow pre‑arranged routes, using maps or GPS to reach destinations efficiently
- • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, cleaning and refuelling as needed
- • Load and unload goods, ensuring secure handling and proper documentation
- • Keep accurate logs of trips, deliveries and any payments collected
- • Provide courteous customer service and handle inquiries professionally
