Job Description
The Safeguarding Specialist will support and implement safeguarding policies and procedures at the program site, working closely with local staff and partners. The role involves monitoring compliance, providing training on protection standards, and ensuring a safe environment for beneficiaries and personnel. The specialist will also coordinate incident reporting and contribute to continuous improvement of safeguarding practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, human rights, international development or related field
- • Minimum three years of experience in safeguarding, protection or related roles within humanitarian settings
- • Strong knowledge of international safeguarding standards and best practices
- • Excellent communication and training facilitation skills
- • Ability to analyze risks and produce clear reports
- • High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards
