Job Description
The Safety Coach delivers on‑site safety training, monitors compliance and promotes a culture of zero incidents within warehouse operations. The role conducts daily safety briefings, reports hazards and ensures adherence to QHSE regulations and 5S principles.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma (or higher) and KCSE certificate
- • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
- • Minimum 2 years experience in FMCG loading/unloading or similar operations
- • Strong understanding of QHSE standards and safety procedures
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Demonstrate safe loading and unloading procedures to warehouse staff
- • Attend daily Tier 1 safety meetings and report any observations
- • Raise and report SIRC cards for unsafe acts and conditions each shift
- • Ensure zero unsafe acts or conditions on site
- • Enforce 100 % compliance with personal protective equipment
- • Apply 5S principles continuously in warehouses and operational areas
- • Support enforcement of all QHSE regulations to maintain safe working conditions
- • Observe proper stacking standards and maintain clear gangways, fire points and emergency exits
- • Report near‑miss incidents immediately
