Job Description
The Schoolwide SENCo will lead the development and implementation of special educational needs provision across the school, ensuring inclusive learning for all students. Working closely with teachers, parents and external agencies, the coordinator will design individualized support plans and monitor progress. The role also involves training staff on SEN policies and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes student wellbeing.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Fully qualified teacher with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience
- • Valid Teacher Services Commission Certificate (Kenya) or equivalent PGCE/QTS for overseas applicants
- • Level 5 qualification in Specific Learning Difficulties
- • BA/BSc/HND or equivalent degree in education or related field
- • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, colleagues and parents
- • Demonstrated enthusiasm, adaptability and passion for education
