Job Description
The Senior Scrum Master leads multiple Agile development teams within a SaaS environment, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and ensuring delivery of high‑quality software. They coach teams on Agile best practices, remove impediments, and collaborate with product owners to prioritize work. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a deep understanding of Scrum frameworks.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- • Minimum 5 years experience in Agile project delivery, with at least 2 years as a Scrum Master
- • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred
- • Proven ability to lead distributed software development teams in a SaaS environment
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives for multiple Scrum teams
- • Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum practices
- • Remove impediments and coordinate cross‑functional dependencies to keep delivery on track
- • Work with product owners to refine backlogs and ensure clear acceptance criteria
- • Track and report sprint progress, velocity and key metrics to senior management
- • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance across teams
