Job Description
The SD‑WAN NOC Engineer (L1) will monitor network performance, provide first‑line troubleshooting and ensure continuous service availability for SD‑WAN solutions. Working in a 24/7 rotational shift, the engineer supports incident resolution and escalates complex issues to senior staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • 1–3 years experience in networking or NOC operations
- • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, VPN and SD‑WAN concepts
- • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems
- • Ability to work rotating shifts and handle high‑pressure situations
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Monitor SD‑WAN network health and performance using NOC tools
- • Perform first‑line troubleshooting of connectivity and configuration issues
- • Respond to alerts, investigate incidents and restore services promptly
- • Document incidents, actions taken and resolutions in ticketing system
- • Escalate unresolved problems to senior NOC engineers or vendors
- • Participate in shift handovers and maintain accurate operational logs
- • Assist with routine maintenance and configuration updates
