Job Description
The Security Coordinator will develop and manage the organization’s physical security, safety and emergency preparedness programmes, protecting personnel, assets and information. Responsibilities include policy development, access control, CCTV monitoring, fire safety, incident management and ensuring compliance with ISO and occupational health standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Security Studies, Risk Management or a related field
- • Professional certification in security or risk management is advantageous
- • Seven to ten years of experience in security and safety management, preferably in high‑security environments
- • Strong knowledge of electronic security systems, CCTV, fire safety and emergency response
- • Excellent analytical, decision‑making and communication skills

- • Develop and implement security policies, procedures and operational controls
- • Manage access control, visitor management and guard‑force operations
- • Oversee CCTV monitoring, investigation activities and electronic security systems
- • Protect organizational assets against theft, fraud, sabotage and unauthorized access
- • Manage fire detection, suppression systems and emergency response plans
- • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, occupational health and safety regulations
- • Lead security audits, fire drills, risk assessments and incident‑management activities
- • Coordinate business continuity initiatives and maintain security documentation
