Job Description
The Security Officer protects The Social House’s premises, staff and assets by monitoring access points, conducting patrols and responding to incidents in accordance with security protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- security certification preferred.
- • Proven experience in a security or guard role, preferably in a commercial environment.
- • Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
- • Strong observational and communication skills.
- • Knowledge of basic first‑aid and emergency response procedures.
Responsibilities
- • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and control access to the premises.
- • Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
- • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents or emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
- • Prepare incident reports, maintain security logs and ensure proper documentation.
- • Enforce company security policies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- • Provide guidance to staff on security awareness and emergency procedures.
