Job Description
The Security Supervisor oversees a team of guards, ensuring effective site coverage, compliance with security procedures and high standards of safety. Duties include training personnel, managing schedules, conducting inspections and preparing regular supervision reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Security Management, Business Management or a related field
- • Minimum of two years’ supervisory experience in a security environment
- • Computer literacy and proficiency with basic office software
- • Strong leadership, communication and decision‑making skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Supervise and coordinate security personnel across assigned sites
- • Deploy staff to ensure proper coverage and rapid response
- • Conduct regular site inspections and enforce SOPs and security standards
- • Train and mentor guards on safety protocols and emergency procedures
- • Manage off‑duty and leave schedules for the security team
- • Liaise with clients on operational matters and address concerns
- • Prepare weekly and monthly supervision and incident reports
