Job Description
The Senior Accountant will oversee comprehensive accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements. Responsibilities include inventory valuation, tax filing, cash‑flow management, and maintaining the general ledger within Microsoft Dynamics. The role also supports audits and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to uphold financial controls.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • CPA finalist (mandatory)
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- • Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience in the FMCG industry
- • Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Navision or Business Central
- • Good understanding of inventory accounting, costing and financial controls
- • Practical experience with VAT, PAYE, withholding tax and other statutory compliance
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- • High level of accuracy, integrity, analytical ability and attention to detail
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Perform inventory reconciliations, stock valuation and cost analysis
- • Prepare statutory tax filings and ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE and withholding tax regulations
- • Conduct bank reconciliations and support cash‑flow management
- • Manage general‑ledger postings, account allocations and financial records
- • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- • Maintain accurate accounting data in Microsoft Dynamics/Navision or Business Central
- • Manage fixed‑asset records, reconciliations and depreciation schedules
- • Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits
