The Senior Accountant will oversee day‑to‑day financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and strengthen internal controls for Rock Investment Bank. Responsibilities include managing the general ledger, preparing statutory statements and supporting the finance team with analysis. The role requires solid accounting expertise and experience in a banking environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within banking or financial services.
- • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local regulatory standards.
- • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

- • Supervise daily accounting activities and ensure timely posting of transactions.
- • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- • Strengthen internal control procedures and conduct periodic reviews.
- • Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- • Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
