Job Description
The Senior Accountant oversees all accounting functions, prepares accurate financial statements and ensures compliance with tax and reporting standards. Responsibilities include managing month‑end close, coordinating audits and supporting budgeting processes. The role also mentors junior staff and drives continuous improvement within the finance team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent
- • Several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment
- • Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and local tax legislation
- • Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills

- • Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records
- • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with standards
- • Manage the month‑end and year‑end closing processes
- • Coordinate external audit activities and provide required documentation
- • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and variance analyses
- • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements
- • Mentor junior accounting staff and support continuous improvement initiatives
