Job Description
The Senior Associate, Programmes supports Kenya’s Deworm the World Initiative by managing targeted treatment, surveillance and classification workstreams. The role provides technical assistance to government partners, coordinates stakeholder engagement and ensures data‑driven planning for school‑based deworming. Strong project management and government liaison skills are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or equivalent in a relevant field
- • 3–5 years experience in programme or project management, preferably in health or development
- • Experience collaborating with government stakeholders
- • Strong multitasking, time management and communication skills
- • Proficiency with standard office software and web research
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Coordinate targeted treatment, surveillance, classification and related programme workstreams
- • Provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to government counterparts and support planning, coordination and stakeholder engagement
- • Review programme plans, guidelines, SOPs and reports
- document challenges, lessons and recommendations
- • Maintain and update county‑level data to support transition to targeted deworming and government‑owned control
- • Support effective delivery of school‑based deworming programmes using data‑driven planning
