Job Description
The Senior Backend Engineer will design, develop and maintain the server‑side components of M‑KOPA Solar’s asset‑sales platform. Responsibilities include creating scalable APIs, integrating with cloud services and ensuring high performance and security. The engineer will also mentor junior developers and drive technical best practices across the team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- • 5+ years of professional backend development experience
- • Proven expertise with Node.js, Java, Python or similar languages
- • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerisation
- • Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture and security best practices
- • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor teams
