Job Description
The Senior Credit Analyst (AVP) evaluates the creditworthiness of large corporate, public sector and financial institution clients for Citi’s Institutional Credit Management team. Responsibilities include conducting detailed financial analysis, preparing credit approval memoranda, assigning risk ratings, and performing periodic portfolio reviews and stress testing. The analyst also supports ad‑hoc industry reviews and contributes to policy development. The role requires 8–10 years of credit analysis experience and strong analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND in Finance, Economics or a related field
- MBA or MSc is an advantage.
- • 8–10 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting or risk assessment for large corporate or financial institution clients.
- • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements, cash flow and leverage profiles.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and prioritization abilities.
- • High level of integrity and ability to work under tight deadlines.
