Job Description
The senior data engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud‑based data pipelines using Databricks and Snowflake. Responsibilities include optimizing workspace performance, ensuring data quality, and supporting analytics teams with reliable data flows. The role requires independent problem‑solving and end‑to‑end ownership of technical deliverables.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- • Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering
- • Strong hands‑on experience with Databricks administration
- • Proven expertise with Snowflake data warehousing
- • Ability to own technical deliverables from design through production
- • Strong problem‑solving and independent work capabilities
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Manage and optimize Databricks workspaces, configurations, permissions, and performance
- • Develop and maintain reliable ETL/ELT workflows and data processing pipelines
- • Support data integration, transformation, and storage in Snowflake
- • Design scalable data architectures for efficient analytics
- • Handle data migrations between platforms while preserving data integrity
- • Identify and resolve pipeline failures, performance issues, and data quality problems
- • Improve automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency
- • Test solutions, document implementations, and deliver production‑ready work
