Job Description
The Senior Frontend Engineer will lead the design, development and delivery of scalable, user‑centric interfaces for the Housing Finance Company of Kenya’s digital platforms. The role involves building responsive front‑end applications, integrating with backend services, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring high performance and accessibility. Candidates must have extensive frontend experience and strong leadership abilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (or professional certificate).
- • Minimum 10 years of frontend development experience.
- • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
- • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and modern frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.
- • Understanding of backend integration and full‑stack concepts.
- • Experience with performance optimisation and responsive design.
