Job Description
The Senior Learning & Development Officer will design and implement learning strategies that enhance employability for Kenyan youth, with a focus on women, refugees and persons with disabilities. The role involves conducting needs assessments, creating inclusive training content, coordinating delivery and monitoring outcomes across the project. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams and community partners ensures that curricula address skill gaps and promote sustainable employment. The position requires strong project management experience and expertise in inclusive learning design.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies or related field
- • Proven experience designing and delivering training programmes for youth and marginalized populations
- • Strong understanding of inclusive learning approaches and accessibility techniques
- • Demonstrated ability to conduct needs assessments and evaluate learning impact
- • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder‑management skills
