Job Description
The Senior Lecturer will lead teaching and research activities in Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems at the Technical University of Kenya. Responsibilities include delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervising research projects, and publishing scholarly work. The role also involves curriculum development and mentorship of junior faculty. Candidates must demonstrate a strong record of academic achievement and professional registration.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • PhD or equivalent degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field
- • Minimum three years of university teaching or research experience, or six years of research/industry experience
- • At least 32 publication points, with a minimum of 24 from refereed scholarly journals
- • Supervised at least three postgraduate students to completion
- • Registration or eligibility with the relevant professional body where applicable
- • Valid professional practicing certificate where applicable
- • Demonstrated merit and ability reflected in work performance
