Job Description
The Senior Lecturer in Software Engineering and Systems Design will lead teaching and research activities within the department, delivering courses, supervising projects, and contributing to scholarly publications. The role requires a PhD or equivalent, strong industry or research background, and experience supervising postgraduate students.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • PhD or equivalent degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- • Minimum three years of university teaching or research experience, or six years industry experience
- • Demonstrated record of scholarly publications and research funding
- • Experience supervising postgraduate students to completion
- • Professional registration or eligibility with relevant engineering or computing bodies where applicable
- • Evidence of merit and ability reflected in work performance
