Job Description
The Senior Legal Associate delivers high‑level legal counsel to support Centum’s investment activities, drafting agreements, conducting research, and managing transactional matters.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Law degree (LL.B) and admission to the bar.
- • Minimum 5 years experience in corporate or investment law.
- • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- • Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously.
- • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Provide legal advice on corporate, investment, and regulatory matters.
- • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and transaction documents.
- • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda for senior management.
- • Support due diligence processes for acquisitions and investments.
- • Coordinate with external counsel and ensure compliance with Kenyan law.
- • Mentor junior legal staff and contribute to knowledge management.
