Job Description
The Senior Manager – Alumni Relations will lead the development and execution of the university’s alumni engagement strategy, fostering strong connections with graduates, donors and partners. They will oversee alumni chapters, design programmes that support lifelong learning and career development, and manage a high‑performing team to deliver measurable impact.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Master’s degree (MBA, MSc or MA) or professional certificate in a relevant field
- • Minimum 6 years experience in alumni relations, stakeholder engagement or program management
- • Demonstrated leadership and team‑building abilities
- • Strong project management and analytical skills
- • Excellent communication and relationship‑building capabilities
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Provide strategic leadership for implementing the alumni relations strategy
- • Develop, launch and support school, regional and professional alumni chapters
- • Establish governance structures, workplans and reporting mechanisms for chapters
- • Guide chapter leaders in planning engagement, networking and development activities
- • Monitor chapter performance and provide continuous improvement support
- • Identify alumni needs and design programmes for lifelong learning, career development and wellness
- • Lead the design and delivery of mentorship initiatives such as NorthStar
- • Manage a team of alumni relations staff and coordinate with university units
