Job Description
The Senior Manager, Compliance & Data Privacy will establish and maintain a risk‑based compliance framework that meets regulatory and internal policy requirements. Key duties include interpreting legislation, preparing regulatory filings, monitoring compliance indicators and providing independent advisory support to senior management. The role requires strong analytical and reporting skills and the ability to lead compliance activities across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND in Law, Finance, Business or related field
- MBA/MSc/MA or professional compliance certification preferred
- • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in compliance, risk management or regulatory affairs, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role
- • Strong knowledge of insurance regulations, data‑privacy laws and corporate‑governance standards
- • Excellent analytical, reporting and stakeholder‑communication skills

- • Develop and maintain the company’s compliance framework, charter and annual compliance plan
- • Keep regulatory registers, reporting calendars and change trackers up to date
- • Interpret applicable laws and regulations and translate them into business obligations
- • Coordinate preparation and submission of regulatory returns, applications and attestations
- • Monitor compliance indicators, set reporting thresholds and manage escalation protocols
- • Provide independent oversight and advisory support to the board and senior management
