Job Description
The Senior Manager of IT Applications & Asset Management provides operational leadership for Bancassurance and Investment Banking applications, ensuring system stability and service quality. The role oversees a support team, drives continuous improvement, and leads technical delivery for integration projects across banking platforms. Candidates need extensive experience in banking IT, strong leadership abilities and a solid educational background.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or higher
- MBA/MSc/MA or professional certification preferred.
- • Minimum 6 years of experience in IT applications support and asset management within banking or financial services.
- • Strong knowledge of Bancassurance, Investment Banking and wealth management applications.
- • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- • Experience with incident, problem, change and vendor management.
- • Ability to drive continuous improvement, automation and user training initiatives.
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Provide operational leadership for day‑to‑day support of Bancassurance and Investment Banking applications, ensuring availability and stability.
- • Oversee incident, problem and change management processes in line with service level agreements.
- • Lead and manage the Business Applications Support team, allocating tasks and monitoring performance.
- • Drive system enhancements, automation, process improvements and user training to increase efficiency.
- • Lead technical delivery for projects affecting Bancassurance, Investment Banking, Custody and Wealth Management applications, including integrations with core banking and third‑party systems.
- • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of application performance and incidents.
