Job Description
The Senior Manager, People Operations leads the human resources function for GiveDirectly, shaping strategy to attract, develop, and retain talent across the organization. The role oversees talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and compliance with labor regulations. It partners with senior leadership to align people initiatives with the organization’s mission of delivering cash transfers to those in poverty. The manager also drives data‑driven HR analytics to improve workforce effectiveness.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- • Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles
- • Proven ability to design and execute talent management strategies
- • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor legislation and HR best practices
- • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
