Job Description
The Senior Manager, Programme leads the design, implementation, and scaling of nature‑finance programmes across the Congo Basin and Francophone markets, managing partnerships, resources, and risk to achieve strategic outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or higher (MBA, MSc, MA) in a relevant field
- • Nine to eleven years of experience in programme management, finance or related sectors
- • Proven ability to lead high‑performing multi‑stakeholder teams
- • Strong written and spoken French and English proficiency
- • Demonstrated experience in partnership development and resource mobilisation
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Provide end‑to‑end leadership for programme design, establishment and delivery
- • Develop and execute portfolio strategies, workplans, budgets and milestones
- • Build and nurture strategic relationships with ANCA members, partners and stakeholders in Francophone countries
- • Mobilise resources and secure funding to sustain programme activities
- • Oversee financial management, reporting and risk mitigation for the portfolio
- • Lead a multi‑country team, coordinating internal colleagues and external suppliers
- • Represent the organisation with governments, regulators and policymakers to influence nature‑finance policies
- • Monitor and evaluate programme impact, ensuring results are measurable and reported to donors
