Job Description
The Senior .NET Developer will design, build and maintain high‑performance web applications and APIs, ensuring scalability and security for Rainforest Alliance’s digital products. Responsibilities include optimizing performance, managing cloud‑based CI/CD pipelines, and integrating containerized solutions. The role requires deep .NET expertise and experience with Azure and modern DevOps practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ICT or a related field
- • Minimum seven years of professional experience in .NET development
- • Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET and web application architecture
- • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
- • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and container technologies like Docker
- • Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform
- • Ability to implement secure coding practices and performance optimization
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop and maintain custom portals using .NET and C#
- • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability for high‑traffic environments
- • Design, implement and integrate RESTful APIs and messaging systems
- • Build and manage Azure Container Apps and Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
- • Ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices
- • Incorporate Terraform scripts into deployment pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning
- • Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments with Aspire
