Job Description
The Senior Product Engineer will own the design and automation of payments risk systems, creating scalable solutions that assess organizer risk and automate payout decisions. The role involves leading end‑to‑end projects, collaborating with product, operations and verification teams, and integrating AI tools to improve decision speed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND in a relevant technical field
- • Minimum seven years of product engineering experience, preferably in payments or risk management
- • Strong background in data analysis, system design and AI/ML integration
- • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects in a distributed, multicultural environment
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Lead end‑to‑end product projects from discovery and design through build, rollout and monitoring
- • Develop algorithms and systems to assess organizer risk at signup and throughout the account lifecycle
- • Automate payout hold and release decisions based on real‑time risk indicators
- • Create and maintain a unified view of exposure, disputes, balances and verification status
- • Collaborate with product, payment operations, KYC/verification and engineering teams
- • Incorporate AI tools to optimize workflows and mentor teammates on AI concepts
- • Ensure reliability, scalability and performance of risk‑related services
- • Track key metrics and iterate on solutions to meet business growth targets
