Job Description
The Senior Project Officer will lead the implementation of child protection and early childhood development activities across selected locations, working closely with government agencies, local partners and faith‑based networks. They will coordinate project tasks, ensure compliance with donor requirements and CRS quality standards, and support monitoring, reporting and evaluation processes. The role also involves strengthening referral systems, family‑based care and case management to improve outcomes for vulnerable children.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or MBA/MSc/MA degree in a relevant field
- • Minimum 4 years experience in project support, preferably in child development, protection or humanitarian programmes
- • Strong coordination and relationship‑management skills
- • Ability to work collaboratively with government and partner agencies
- • Excellent monitoring, reporting and evaluation capabilities

- • Organize and lead implementation of all assigned project activities in Kisumu, Mombasa or Nairobi
- • Coordinate with government counterparts, local partners, community structures and faith‑based networks
- • Strengthen child protection systems and early childhood development services
- • Manage referrals, family‑based care and case‑management processes
- • Oversee monitoring, reporting and evaluation activities
- • Ensure compliance with donor requirements and CRS program quality standards
- • Promote learning and knowledge sharing throughout the project cycle
