Job Description
The Senior Research Associate will coordinate market intelligence studies for CIMMYT, managing workflows, data collection, and partner engagement to deliver high‑quality research outputs. The role includes designing surveys, overseeing implementation, and ensuring timely delivery of findings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or higher (MBA/MSc/MA preferred) in Agriculture, Economics, Social Sciences, or related field
- • 5–7 years of experience in market research or intelligence coordination
- • Strong analytical, writing, and data management skills
- • Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary research projects and stakeholders
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and research software tools
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Coordinate day‑to‑day activities of multiple market intelligence studies
- • Maintain workplans, trackers, milestones, and deliverable schedules
- • Manage questionnaire development, survey programming, field implementation, and data handover
- • Liaise with internal teams, country offices, procurement, and external partners
- • Prepare implementation plans, budgets, Terms of Reference, and scopes of work
- • Ensure documentation, reporting, and communication of study progress
