Job Description
The Senior Sales Associate will drive growth in the commercial and industrial renewable energy market by generating and converting new business opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline, and nurturing client relationships. The role involves preparing proposals, conducting site visits, and negotiating contracts to meet monthly and annual sales targets. Accurate CRM maintenance and market trend analysis are also essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or equivalent
- • Minimum 3 years proven sales experience, preferably in solar PV or renewable energy
- • Strong communication, networking and business development skills
- • Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities in a target‑driven environment
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management tools
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities within the C&I solar energy market
- • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from lead generation to contract closure
- • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients and industry stakeholders
- • Conduct client meetings and site visits to assess energy needs and recommend suitable Solar PV and BESS solutions
- • Prepare and present commercial proposals, quotations and sales presentations in collaboration with the technical team
- • Drive negotiations and close sales opportunities
- • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM and pipeline records
- • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and pipeline updates for the Sales Manager
- • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and developments in the renewable energy sector
