Job Description
The Senior Technical Advisor will lead the Horizon‑1000 initiative, delivering AI‑driven clinical decision support solutions for primary health care in Kenya. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and evaluating digital health tools while ensuring alignment with national health policies and data‑governance standards. The role requires extensive experience in health systems, digital health ecosystems, and project management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND (or higher) in health, public health, engineering, or a related field
- MBA/MSc/MA or professional certification preferred
- • 5–8 years experience in health systems strengthening, digital health, or AI‑enabled health projects
- • Strong understanding of primary health care systems, digital health ecosystems, and relevant legislation
- • Proven project and programme management skills, including budgeting and risk management
- • Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and report‑writing abilities
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital health platforms

- • Provide technical expertise for the Horizon‑1000 AI‑driven clinical decision support initiative
- • Lead design, implementation, and evaluation of digital health solutions in primary health care settings
- • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships across ministries, health agencies, and partners
- • Ensure compliance with Kenya’s Digital Health Act, Data Protection Act, and AI governance frameworks
- • Oversee project planning, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, and risk management activities
- • Conduct training and capacity‑building for health workers using AI tools
