Job Description
The Service Engineer – Earth Moving will maintain and repair earth‑moving equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently. The role includes troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems and keeping detailed maintenance records. Candidates need a technical diploma and 2‑5 years of experience with heavy construction equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical or Automotive Engineering
- • Two to five years experience as a technician for heavy construction equipment
- • Experience with agricultural and earth‑moving machinery
- • Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
- • Familiarity with safety procedures, risk assessments and maintenance protocols
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Maintain and repair earth‑moving products, pumps, vibrators and related machinery
- • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- • Calibrate mixing systems to meet quality standards
- • Troubleshoot issues with pumps, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
