Job Description

The Service Technician / Repair Assistant provides after‑sales support for power tools, performing diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance both in the workshop and on‑site. Duties include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults, managing spare parts and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role requires a diploma in engineering, three years of relevant experience and a valid motorcycle licence.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • • Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • • Minimum three (3) years of experience servicing power tools
  • • Valid motorcycle rider’s licence
  • • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
  • • Good technical knowledge of power‑tool systems and safety procedures
  • • Ability to work independently and as part of a service team

Responsibilities

  • • Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical, mechanical and electronic power tools in workshop and field settings
  • • Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations to ensure tool reliability
  • • Use testing equipment and technical documentation to identify faults
  • • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers
  • • Provide on‑site service support and customer assistance as needed
  • • Ensure compliance with quality, safety and documentation standards
