Job Description
The Shift‑In‑Charge / Machine Operator oversees the safe and efficient operation of extrusion lines, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. They monitor machine parameters, troubleshoot issues and support quality checks throughout the shift.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or Diploma in a technical or engineering discipline
- • Strong technical aptitude and interest in industrial machinery
- • Ability to understand and follow technical instructions and procedures
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Operate CPP Cast Film and Stretch Film extrusion lines, including start‑up, changeovers, production and shutdown procedures
- • Monitor machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, dosing, cooling and winding
- • Ensure production follows schedules, specifications and approved formulations
- • Track output, machine efficiency, waste and downtime
- • Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- escalate complex issues to maintenance
- • Record faults, corrective actions and support quality inspections
- • Maintain accurate shift logs and production reports
