Job Description
The Site Manager will oversee operations at customer sites, ensuring safety, service continuity and strong client relationships while driving revenue growth for Solenis. Responsibilities include coordinating between the customer and internal teams, managing chemical inventory, supporting trials of advanced solutions, and monitoring performance against KPIs. The role requires strong leadership, people‑management and safety compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business or a related discipline (BA/BSc/HND)
- • Proven experience in site or operations management within the chemicals or industrial sector
- • Strong leadership, people‑management and emotional‑intelligence skills
- • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Coordinate daily site activities between the customer and Solenis teams to ensure uninterrupted service
- • Achieve assigned sales targets and identify upselling or cross‑selling opportunities on site
- • Lead trials of new advanced chemical solutions in collaboration with the Account Manager
- • Develop, monitor and report on site‑specific KPIs and performance metrics
- • Manage chemical inventory, demand forecasting and timely replenishment of supplies
- • Prepare and submit weekly performance reports and issue resolution updates
- • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, including PPE usage and safety behaviour standards
- • Liaise with customer service to process LPOs and maintain smooth chemical deliveries
