Job Description
The Social Media Operations Deputy Lead assists the lead in managing the company’s social media portfolio, overseeing content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking across multiple brand accounts.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- • Minimum 3–5 years experience in social media management or digital marketing
- • Strong execution skills and ability to manage multiple brand accounts simultaneously
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Kiswahili
- Mandarin is a plus
- • Proficiency with CRM systems and content management tools
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Support the Social Media Operations Lead in planning weekly content calendars and publishing schedules
- • Manage NestVest and other brand social media profiles, ensuring consistent tone and branding
- • Oversee the full content production workflow, including topic planning, script drafting, video editing, subtitles, cover design, and CTA configuration
- • Track task owners, deadlines, and live post links to ensure on‑time delivery
- • Log all social media inquiries into the CRM system and hand them over to the appropriate service teams
- • Supervise the social media team, allocating tasks and monitoring performance
- • Compile weekly data review reports, highlighting top‑performing content and lead quality analysis
- • Ensure brand compliance, factual accuracy, and account security for all published posts
