Job Description
The Software Tester / QA Engineer is responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications. The role includes creating test cases, performing cross‑browser testing, validating data flows, and managing defect documentation. Collaboration with development and product teams helps mitigate release risks.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND in a relevant field
- • Minimum 3 years of professional software testing or QA engineering experience
- • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- • Familiarity with test documentation and defect tracking tools
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop, update, and maintain structured test cases, test plans, and release checklists
- • Conduct cross‑browser and cross‑device testing of web pages and interactive forms
- • Validate enquiry pipelines, CRM data handover, and marketing source tracking
- • Execute full regression testing after bug fixes and feature updates
- • Log defects with detailed reproduction steps, evidence, and severity classification
- • Support user acceptance testing and verify resolved issues before production sign‑off
- • Identify and communicate critical release risks with supporting test evidence
