Job Description
The Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring high‑quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, capturing accurate images, and communicating preliminary findings to physicians.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- • Minimum 2 years of sonography experience
- • Strong communication, observation and analytical skills
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Review client medical history and explain procedures in understandable terms
- • Conduct diagnostic sonography examinations according to physician orders
- • Capture and evaluate images to ensure accurate anatomical and pathological representation
- • Prepare preliminary findings and communicate results to the supervising physician
- • Maintain patient safety, privacy and confidentiality throughout examinations
- • Use proper positioning tools and ergonomic techniques to optimize image quality and reduce strain
- • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote ultrasound services
