Job Description
The Staff Software Engineer for Google Play designs and builds large‑scale software systems, leads technical projects and mentors engineers across the organization. Responsibilities include architecture design, code quality assurance, product launch coordination and driving innovation within the Android ecosystem. Extensive experience in Java, Android development and algorithmic problem solving is required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- • 8 years of software development experience
- • 5 years of experience in testing and launching software products
- • 3 years of experience in software design and architecture
- • Proven technical leadership experience and ability to guide project teams
- • Expertise in Java, Android development, data structures and algorithms
