Job Description
The Storekeeper is responsible for controlling inventory, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that all departments receive the right stock at the right time. Duties include monitoring stock movements, investigating variances, and coordinating with finance, procurement, and culinary teams. The role demands strong organizational skills and proactive communication to prevent overstocking and wastage.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- further education in logistics or supply chain preferred
- • Experience in inventory management or storekeeping, preferably in hospitality or retail
- • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Monitor stock movement and maintain accurate inventory records
- • Control issues, track minimum and maximum stock levels, and support replenishment
- • Participate in regular stock counts and investigate variances promptly
- • Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Receiving, Culinary and F&B teams to fulfill stock needs
- • Ensure shelves are organized, records are current, and reorder points are logical
- • Communicate stock status and discrepancies clearly to relevant departments
- • Follow documented procedures and maintain compliance with inventory controls
