Job Description
The Structured Cabling Installer is responsible for delivering end‑to‑end cabling projects, from site surveys through installation and testing. The role requires adherence to industry standards and effective coordination with technical teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or certification in Structured Cabling, Telecommunications or related field
- • Minimum two years experience installing structured cabling solutions
- • Knowledge of industry standards such as ANSI/TIA‑568 and ISO/IEC
- • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- • Strong problem‑solving and teamwork abilities
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Install, terminate and test structured cabling systems (copper and fiber)
- • Conduct site surveys and prepare detailed installation plans
- • Ensure compliance with local codes, standards and best practices
- • Coordinate with project managers and other technical staff to meet deadlines
- • Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
