Job Description
The Subject Matter Expert in Networking & Infrastructure will design, implement, and manage secure Google Cloud Platform environments for enterprise clients, focusing on networking, security, and containerized workloads. Working remotely, you will collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions across multiple regions. The role requires deep expertise in GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, and related networking technologies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or professional certificate in a relevant field.
- • Minimum 7 years of experience in cloud networking and infrastructure.
- • Strong hands‑on expertise with Google Cloud Platform, especially networking and security.
- • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Apigee.
- • Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts and hybrid cloud architectures.
- • Experience with Linux environments and scripting.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Design and provision secure GCP landing zones for enterprise environments.
- • Configure VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, Cloud NAT, and load balancers.
- • Implement IAM policies and cloud‑security best practices.
- • Deploy infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- • Support Apigee Developer Portal and federated architecture deployments.
- • Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred).
- • Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and application teams for environment provisioning and troubleshooting.
