Job Description
The Supply Chain Management attachment offers a hands‑on learning experience with the Kenya Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis Eradication Council, focusing on procurement, inventory control and logistics support. Interns will assist senior staff in managing supplies essential for disease control operations. The placement runs from October to December.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in a Diploma or degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
- • Strong analytical and organizational skills
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Assist with procurement processes, including supplier communication and order preparation
- • Track inventory levels and update stock records in the management system
- • Support logistics planning for the distribution of supplies to field teams
- • Prepare basic reports on stock movements and procurement activities
